I loved it because it’s a great transitional piece in going from winter to spring (or whatever the heck you call what’s happening outside these days, I feel like every week I see a different season). BUT at the same time I can see myself wearing it in the late summer and early fall with booties and a light jacket thrown over my shoulders.
This piece just made me feel super feminine, and the stretchy, floral-print fabric made it equally dressy and comfortable. I also loved that there were sleeves! I don’t really like the way cardigans look on me, specifically over dresses, so that helped on this particular day since it was chilly. If you have a bridal shower, baby shower, or even rehearsal dinner on the calendar, this dress is a great option.
I purchased it at Francesca’s which, for those who are not familiar, is a boutique chain that I frequent. Today they’re doing one of their infamous BOGO mixer sales where you can buy an item and get another for 50% off. Clothing, jewelry and accessories are all included – and you can mix and match (hence the “mixer”)! I just took advantage of the offer and bought myself a romper dress. I’ll report back if it’s a good one!
Well, I’m off to get some work done before a fun wedding weekend in Chicago with my college crew. Be sure to follow along on Instagram. Our adventures will be in my story! Have a great rest of the week! Chat soon. Xo
