Anyways, last night in Cleveland was the first night I legit felt cold since like April. We had a weird, humid summer, so I thought I was ready for it. Not so much, haha!! The good news is, though, that I can finally start dressing for fall in the morning without it feeling like summer by mid-afternoon (I’ve had so many sweaty walks back to my car after work lately – yuck). One of the pieces I’m most excited to bust out is this faux suede olive jacket that SheIn sent me!
Good morning, girlfriends! I hope you all had a nice weekend. Ours was pretty relaxing and productive! We soaked in as much down time as we could get before a crazy busy week and weekend ahead. We’re off to Pittsburgh on Friday for my cousin’s wedding, our last of the year. I’m so excited! I love weddings, but especially family ones. There’s something extra special about them.
I posted this jacket on social over the weekend and got so many positive reviews. To answer some of your questions – yes, I did size up in this specific piece. The sizing started with medium (no smalls available), and that’s what I got. It fits perfectly, though, because I based sizing 100% off the chart on the product page. I do this for every single item I order from SheIn. Their size charts vary from product to product, unlike a lot of retailers who provide generic ranges. I’m sure that takes so much work on their end, but I’m happy they do it because 99% of the time I order the correct size.
As for quality, even Dane (my husband) was shocked by how nice this jacket is! It’s super soft and has a nice weight to it. The fabric is breathable, too, unlike similar pieces that are made with leather/faux leather. And being only 5 fee tall, I feel like it still hits me in all the right places – just above my hips for the overall length, and the sleeves just a couple of inches below my wrists! I would highly recommend, especially for my petite girlies! At just $33, it’s seriously such a steal. AND it comes in 4 other colors. You can see all of your options right here.
Since I know many of you are interested in purchasing from SheIn, but don’t know where to start or how to pick a piece, I decided to share my own fall wish list below. There are certain things I look for when shopping with them – product reviews, fabric type, measurements/proportions, and overall style primarily. All of the pieces listed pass my test and are on my own personal radar to buy/try.
Don’t be scared! Buy a couple of pieces and see how they go! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the quality and style for the price points. And if not, you could always return! Just make sure you read their policies carefully as some stuff like body suits and bathing suits can’t be returned. You can read their full return policy here.
Let me know what you think of my picks! And if you find others on the SheIn website you love, let me know in the comments! They have so many options, I’m sure I missed a ton of great goodies during my hunt.
Happy Monday and happy shopping, babes!
