Hey, girlfriends! How’s everyone’s week going so far? I thought Tuesday was Wednesday, but other than that mine is quite alright, haha. Probably because I’ve been listening to Christmas music non-stop. Don’t judge me, but it puts me in a great mood! Whatever works, right?

Side note before I jump in to today’s post, but Hanson’s “Snowed In” Christmas album is literally my favorite holiday album of all time. BUT they put out a new one last week that’s giving it a serious run for it’s money. I highly recommend (you can buy the CD, stream it, etc. here)!!!

Okay, so still on the subject of Christmas… I ordered some holiday decor to add to my collection and really wanted to share. Then I got to thinking, perhaps I’ll do a few of these “Christmas Tree Theme Ideas” posts to cover different styles. What do you all think? Comment yay or nay. If you’re not up for it, I won’t waste my time! Either way, though, I still want to show you what I bought. I don’t really know what to call my decor theme, but I’m doing hues of silver and gold with textures like burlap, wood and faux fur. Perhaps rustic? I don’t usually like the term “rustic”, but I guess that’s the best way to describe it. Let’s settle on “rustic chic”, haha.

Here’s a visual board of what I’ve bought (and a few similar items to things I bought last year because I can’t find exacts). I can’t wait to see how it all comes together. I’ll definitely be sharing on Instagram, Facebook, etc. but consider this your “sneak peek”.  I’ll also add to this as I buy more.

Excited to hear what you think and if I should do more. OH…and if you think I should do more, what style or color schemes should I cover?! I’m all ears!

When my fiancé and I get married, I have a feeling we'll be doing more than one tree in our home. Our bedroom will be our special, personal tree – filled with all the goodies from our childhood and such. Our living room will have our themed tree, making it look like decor! Love your ideas!
